The key to how we create natural and meaningful images is our connection with you. Our goal is always to move beyond the photographer-client relationship and form a true friendship with everyone we photograph.
We are genuinely excited for you and we so enjoy meeting new people and learning about them and bringing out their true selves through our work.
Everything we do on a shoot is with you in mind, we want you to be comfortable and relaxed and overall, we want you to really enjoy the whole experience!

Capturing moments

We always get told that we’re so lucky with our clients because they’re all beautiful, photogenic, and natural in front of the camera. The reality is, around 80% of our clients express to us how nervous they are to have a photoshoot, how they’ve never really had their photo taken before and how they think they’re going to feel and look awkward at the session. When you hire us, you’re hiring experts who have worked with people all across the spectrum! We photograph real people, we are so used to people feeling awkward and not knowing what to do and our goal is always to create a relaxed and fun environment where people feel as though they can just be themselves.

The truth is, when we get going, we all have such a laugh together and the whole process feels so natural and relaxed that our clients almost always forget about the camera! We create natural imagery because we put our clients at ease. Don’t worry, you’re never going to be left standing in front of the camera not knowing what to do with your hands! We give prompts which lead to genuine interactions, and that’s what we capture.

Our aim when we’re shooting is to focus on the clients we’re working with and bring out their unique story in the imagery we create. It’s never our goal to recreate a previous shoot, recreate another photographer’s work, or get ‘the perfect instagram shot’.

*Your story is beautiful, so let’s tell it*
In the weeks and days leading up to your shoot, we’ll have spoken to you either over FaceTime, or over coffee if you’re local, and will have heard a little bit of your story and got to know and spend some time with you. This is important for us (and for you) because we want to have a real connection with you, we want to know what it is that you’re really wanting from your photos, and we want to do all that we can to create your ideal gallery.

This is the key to long lasting and meaningful images that you will cherish for years to come. If you can really see yourself in them, you will love them. That’s always our goal with every single client!

What happens afterwards?

After we’ve photographed you, we’ll say our goodbye’s and then within the next few days, you’ll receive a little preview gallery! This could be anything from 25-75 images (depending on the package you booked) to get you nice and excited for the full gallery! Within 2-8 weeks (again, depending on the package you’ve booked), you’ll receive your full gallery.

We absolutely love to stay in touch with our past clients and often have clients return to us for more photoshoots over the years. We truly value relationship building and want everyone who chooses to work with us to have a wonderful experience from start to finish.
