Siobhan & Andrew’s Highlands Elopement in Shieldaig

There will always be a special place in my heart for couples who choose to elope in the Scottish Highlands. We absolutely loved capturing Andrew & Siobhan’s intimate elopement at Shieldaig Lodge this autumn time, and it was such a great drive up from Edinburgh along the North Coast 500 to meet them for their elopement!

These two had already planned a smaller and more intimate wedding when they booked us in 2019, little did they know at the time, it would fit in perfectly with the COVID-19 restrictions that were to come! The only thing they had to change was their wedding attire now needed a new item - face masks!

Siobhan & Andrew grew up in the highlands and so they really wanted the beautiful landscapes surrounding Shieldaig Lodge captured in their wedding photos. For me, this sounded like a dream come true! I am always down for travelling to a beautiful location and capturing it for my couples, and I love getting to incorporate portraiture and landscape photography.

Here are a few images and a preview of their film from their wonderful day! If you’re planning an elopement in the highlands of Scotland, and you’re looking for a wedding and elopement photographer and videographer to capture it, get in touch! We would absolutely love to chat through your plans with you.
