Christina & Christopher’s Elopement in Snowdonia

This wedding is very special to us. Christina got in touch with me in 2019 and told me all about her plans for her wedding, and we connected on such an amazing level! Over the months these two quickly became great friends of ours and it was pretty clear that we were the perfect fit for each other! When coronavirus hit and the lockdowns started in the UK, we worked with Christina as she had to keep changing her plans and remain uncertain about what was happening with the wedding. She is American and so things regarding her close family travelling over for the wedding remained so up in the air throughout most of 2020!

Amazingly, God brought everything together for them for what ended up being such a sweet and precious day for them. Even just the day before the wedding, plans were changing and adjustments were being made to make sure that everything was safe and all of her guests were being looked after and we were well within the safe guidelines for the pandemic. Christina and Christopher really did amazing to pull this off and their faith and perseverance really showed through during the whole process!

They ended up with an intimate backdoor ceremony at Christopher’s parents’ house in Wales, followed by fish and chips from the local chippy, and then an amble through Snowdonia National Park at sunset to capture their first few moments as Mr & Mrs. It was truly an honour to capture this day for them, and we feel so blessed to have been able to witness them coming together in love and celebrating with their nearest and dearest. We are so so excited to capture their bigger wedding celebration in 2022!

Here is a selection of images from their day, as well as the beautiful wedding film created by Matt Willoughby Film.
