“A large drop of sun lingered on the horizon and then dripped over and was gone, and the sky was brilliant over the spot where it had gone, and a torn cloud, like a bloody rag, hung over the spot of its going. And dusk crept over the sky from the eastern horizon, and darkness crept over the land from the east.”
We ventured over to a side of the roaches that we don’t usually go to, and found some beautiful fields and watched the sun set over the peaks. I mean, we were freezing cold because it was super windy, but it was amazing.
“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add colour to my sunset sky.”
This field was so beautiful, the colours brought to mind so many memories of summers growing up in the countryside.
