Discovering Scottish Roots: The McGarveys' Glencoe Family Photoshoot Adventure

The McGarveys headed to Scotland for an epic family adventure. Ross, a true Scot, and Christina, from Utah, visited Scotland along with their two awesome boys, and I had the pleasure of capturing them whilst they were here!

My style is all about real moments, keeping things relaxed and genuine, and letting my clients' personalities shine.

Glencoe's stunning landscapes were the perfect playground for our day of fun. We explored, laughed, and played, ran through the boggy grass and climbed mounds and rocks. What made it truly special was how the McGarveys were so genuinely themselves during this session! They snuggled up close when the wind and rain hit, and ran around having the best time together despite the weather.

Glencoe’s scenery is just out of this world. The boys ran wild through the glens, and the parents? Well, they couldn't help but steal a quiet moment to share a sweet embrace with the majestic mountains as their backdrop. It was like something out of a fairy tale.

For the McGarveys, Scotland isn't just a place on the map; it's a piece of their heritage. My goal was to capture that connection, the essence of who they are. I didn't want posed pictures; I wanted to tell their story as it unfolded in this magical setting. Each photo tells a tale of their love, their journey, and their Scottish adventure.

In a nutshell, the McGarveys' Glencoe photoshoot was a whirlwind of family, heritage, and the kind of magic that only Scotland can offer. It felt like hanging out with old friends, and I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out. It was an unforgettable day filled with love, laughter, and, of course, some good old Scottish rain! Here’s a selection of my favourite photos!
